Daughters of Saint Paul

Paulines Lay Mission Partners

The Pauline Lay Mission Partners (PLMP) share in the mission of the Daughters of St. Paul in the Philippines – Malaysia – Papua New Guinea – Thailand Province.

As sharers in the missionary vocation of the Daughters of St. Paul, every PLMP is expected to live a life worthy of his/her calling.

For Blessed James Alberione, Founder of ther Daughters of St. Paul and of the Pauline Family, every PLMP has an important role to play in the field of Pauline Mission. Once he exhorted the Sisters: “As long as we remain along in our field of work, we will only be able to do what we can by ourselves. It is our duty, therefore, to look for people who will join us in the apostolate so that good may be multiplied! All forces for good must come together for Jesus Christ and for the Church.” (Art. 143, FSP Cap. Doc.)

Blessed Alberione also said: “The active and sanctifying presence of the laity is called for in an especially urgent way in the social communication field. They are called upon to act “as leaven,” “as fellow workers in the truth,” striving to “imbue this media with human and Christian values, that they may respond fully to the great expectations of humanity and to God’s designs.” (Art. 144, FSP Cap. Doc.)
